Artist Statement

My work is rooted in the exploration of identity, cultural heritage and the human experience. Through oil pastel, acrylic, crochet and mixed media, I create visual narratives that question who we are and where we belong.

I draw inspiration from my cultural background, weaving together diverse visual traditions. Each piece is an invitation to look beyond the surface, to find connection in colour, texture and form.

Art, for me, is a bridge. It connects past and present, self and other, the visible and the felt. My practice is a continuous dialogue between material and meaning, a search for truth through the act of making.
