Artist Statement

My work is rooted in the exploration of identity, cultural heritage and the human experience. Through oil pastel, acrylic, crochet and mixed media, I create visual narratives that question who we are and where we belong.

I draw inspiration from my dual cultural background, weaving together elements of Nigerian and European visual traditions. Each piece is an invitation to look beyond the surface — to find connection in colour, texture and form.

Art, for me, is a bridge. It connects past and present, self and other, the visible and the felt. My practice is a continuous dialogue between material and meaning — a search for truth through the act of making.
